'''Open Document Format''' (ODF) is an open, XML-based file format standard for word processing documents, spreadsheets, charts, and presentations. The specification was originally developed by Sun Microsystems, but has been standardized by the Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards (OASIS).
